I just got back from the Exchange Building (I posted a picture of it here recently), and I have to say, it is a fantastically interesting place. Built back in 1930, it was originally an office building, but in the 60s it was converted into a mental hospital. We wandered through the morgue in the basement, as well as rooms and an area that was once an electroshock area. There is also a room at the end of the building that has seen three homicides.

I took some good pictures, hopefully, though my camera malfunctioned twice. I'll post some pictures tomorrow when I get the film developed.

As for my camera acting odd, it happened twice, and only when I pointed at a certain object. Weird stuff, eh? The building is supposedly haunted, and the owner was telling us that she has one of the longest EVPs ever caught. She's invited us back for a ghost hunt sometime ;3

Edit: Oh yeah! I forgot to mention something else that was awesome. By the building there is a large stock yard, due it to being a former livestock shipping building. The stock yard was actually in use until about two years ago. Well, we wandered over there, and there were CATTLE BONES all over the place. The grossest part? Some weren't even done decaying. I saw a foot with fur and the hooves still on it, as well as a skull with fur enough to still be tagged. Yes, there was a YELLOW TAG on the EAR of this skull. I did not, however, get any pictures of this :c I hope to go back eventually, though, and get some.
